Our Services

Social Learning

Communication Pathways offers social learning individual and group sessions, for children and adults, in order to develop social-cognitive communication skills. A variety of strategies are integrated into all our social groups.

Stress Management

Sessions are designed for individuals to develop better understanding of their emotions by connecting to how their body and brain feel, and learning strategies to help keep themselves in a calm feeling state across home, work, and community.

Mary-Beth Friday, M.Ed./CCC-SLP

Social Coach/Speech-Language Pathologist

Mary-Beth is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist, who has specialized in social learning for over 15 years. She has advanced training in the Social Thinking® and PEERS® treatment frameworks. Mary-Beth founded Communication Pathways in 2013 based on a belief that social communication is the cornerstone of successful relationships within the family, school, workplace, and community.

 

Mary-Beth grew up in Burlington, Vermont. She attended Middlebury College and received her master’s degree from the University of Virginia. She has called Wisconsin home for almost 20 years. In her free-time, Mary-Beth loves being by the lake and enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.

Sadie Mleziva, MS/CCC-SLP

Social Coach/Speech-Language Pathologist

Sadie finds joy in helping people grow their confidence to communicate and connect with others. Her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist are versatile; she has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults. Her passion is helping individuals who need support with social communication, stuttering, speech sounds, and language as well as neurodivergent individuals and people living with neurological diagnoses.  She has additional training via Social Thinking, including Zones of Regulation, and is a PEERs® Social Skills Certified Provider.

Outside of her professional life, Sadie enjoys being home with her family and her cat, spending time in prayer and meditation, connecting with friends, walking, being in nature, and watching basketball. Sadie is also a Certified Reiki Master who believes in the importance of balancing mind, body, and spirit.
